Or do I have to go to my doctor whenever I need to have a refill?

If your doctor has prescribed Cialis to you, please explain how you take the pill and how you get more of them.

Lastly, how much does it cost you annually?

-Thank You

  1. Excuse me for asking this, but have you never had a prescription before?  They all work the same way.  if your doctor prescribes this medication to you, he/she will explain how to take the medication and how many refills he/she is going to give you.  Typically this is part of the doc/patient conversation.

When the prescription is filled, as with any prescription, there is a consultation if you have any questions about how to take the medication or about the prescription in general.  There should be an indication for refills on your prescription bottle.  It should show a number of refills left or it might say "Refills=O Must be approved by your doctor".

Was this medication given to you by your doctor? If not, it's never a safe idea to take medication unless prescribed by a doctor.

  2. A prescription is usually filled once for thirty days. If you need more of it after thirty days then you need to see your doctor.

Sometimes they will extend them for a three months supply but not often.

If you do not see 'refill' on the bottle that means it is only for a one time use per amount of pills.
