  1. I just answered the same question! lol Use this Med. It also helps with Cotton Fungus and Fin Rot. good luck hope this helps. >Quick Cure<

the link will show ya and it's cheap

  2. Get some Quick Cure as some one else mentioned. Most pet stores, and even Wal Mart carry it.It's cheap, like $4.00 maybe, and it works.Raise the temp in your tank to above 82 degrees, you may also want to add an airstone if you do not already have one.Higher water temps. mean less oxygen in the water. One other thing is to leave the light off.Haveing the light left on will help the ich to surrvive, and will also lessen the effects of the Quick Cure.Another thing is if you have any live plants,or fake ones that are white or light colored, you might want to remove them. The Quick Cure will stain them blue.Good Luck!

    Edit:

I,like everyone else but no soop, missed the saltwater part.Do what no soop said,he knows more about fish than anyone else here anyway!

  3. The first thing I would recommend with MARINE ICH is hyposalinity, which is basically giving the infected fish a short (5 minute) bath in dechlorinated freshwater.  The fish will handle this much better than the parasite, but if you do see the fish struggling greatly, get it back into the saltwater tank.  This can be done a couple times a day, but if the infestation is still aparent after a few days, you should begin treatment with copper based medications (Coppersafe, Aquarisol, Organicure, Cupramine).  Formalin and malachite green should be considered after hyposalinity and copper.  When medicating, consider using a quarantine tank, as any calcaerous material (shell, live rock, coral, etc.) will chelate the copper, making it useless as a treatment.  In the quarantine tank, all you need is a heater, filter, and some method of measuring the salinity.

  4. You purchase ich medication and follow the instructions, a pet store or the large chain stores usually have this in their pet dept.
