  1. The normal advice is to be standing in line at the check-in counter 2 full hours before your flight is scheduled to depart.  However, 90 minutes should be OK for a flight that early.  DON'T try to shave it closer than that, if only because you risk having problems due to traffic delays on the way to the airport.

Once you check-in go through security (don't wait). Be at your gate 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Hope you have a good trip.

  2. 3 hours before flights becuase theres a lot of people at the airport especially fri-sun nd u mite miss the flight

  3. i would say u should get there at 3:55 am because it takes time to check in and go through security and getting to the terminal/gate. all that adds up to time.

  4. If you know what you're doing an hour should be more than enough. If you're new to this I'd say two hours just to be sure and not be under all kinds of pressure. A flight like that must have cost a fortune, I would deffinetly be on the side of caution as to not miss that flight though.

  5. As a general rule you should give yourself a 2 hour window. most airlines ask that you arive 2 hrs early.  Have a great flight.

  6. No earlier than 5am. Probably more like 5.30am.

  7. Domestic flight...I would say an hour is fine at that time of the morning. So try to get there around 6am or a little before.

The guy above me is wrong. You can normally check in up to 30 mins from your flight. Interntional cut-off is 1 hour.

  8. If it's a domestic flight you need to be check in at least 1 1/5 hours before your flight and be at the gate 10 or 15 minutes before boarding.

  9. If you want to see what the expected security wait times are, here's the TSA link that will show you the average wait times in security lines (based on airport, time of day and day of the week) http://waittime.tsa.dhs.gov/index.html  Also, to save even more time, you can check-in online the day before and print your boarding pass.  If you airport offers sky cap, use them and you'll be zippin' through the airport in no time.  I would recommend no less than 1 hour pre-flight arrival.
