That would make you 1/8 Cherokee, assuming she was the only one in your family that was Cherokee.

no. it is in your heritage but not considered half because she is not one of your parents.

If your great granddad was white, their children would be half... You're mom would be quarter and you would be an eighth given only your great grandma was cherokee..
