  1. ye take a leaf out of cristiano ronalios book i no wrong sport but  he wears 2 sizes down and it helps him

  2. Scientifically speaking  the bigger the skate the more resistance   from the blade on the ice and the boot in the air---plus if its bigger  it would weigh more--taking more energy to move a larger mass.   These may be small numbers but in the course of a game they may take their toll and make someone tire faster

  3. Yes. It will slow you down not only due to the ankle support as others have stated, but when you make a stride, your toe will tend to drag on the ice. I have had two team mates with this problem, changed their skates sizes and major difference. Always skate in the proper size skates

  4. Yes.  Not only will you not be able to move your feet as quickly, but you also won't have the proper ankle support.  Unless your skates are pretty tight, you will not have the same response time because your skates will not move with your feet:  they will bend at the ankles and wherever the skates are loose.  Hockey skates need to be as tight as they can be (without cutting off circulation or anything) in order to be effective.

  5. Yes most likely and you will have horrible balance.

  6. If they're too big you could break your ankle.

  7. Yes and you'll be in blister city....get ones that fit
