You can collect your winning ticket up to 2 years @ Canterbury Park in Minnesota,And they offer simlucasting and have up till one year on that.But call your local horse track and ask them.

Yes, in fact you can collect immediately after the race if you want to.

If you place the bet at a bookies you can collect straight after the race. If you do it online they will pay you automatically and usually within minutes.

If you put your bet on at the races and don't collect during the meeting (or if the bookie nicks off early) it's still okay as long as you have your ticket.

If you get in touch with them using the contact details on the betting slip they will arrange to send you your winnings.

Why bet at a bookies when you can bet online for better odds through a betting exchange like betfair or betdaq. And you automatically get your winnings added to your account.

You can collect them the same day whether you are at the racecourse or in the bookies or the next day or whenever.  Not sure if there is a time limit on collecting winnings but if there is it will be a few weeks, but then again if you win a fair amount you won't want to wait that long !!

When I was an owner I think we got the winnings pretty much straight away.

you can collect as soon as the winner is confirmed so usually almost straight away unless there is a dispute over the winner.
