If my iq is 127 and im thirteen does that mean im smart or do i still have a long way to go?

thats means you're very smart for your age and at that rate you still have a long way to go, but it'll be worth it if you keep up whatever you're doing

127 means that you are well above average in intelligence/ I hope that you are living up to your abilities in not only extra-curricular programs but even more importantly in curricula classes.

The tests were designed so that most people would be average. One hundred is average. Ninety to one hundred ten is the entire middle group--about 68 out of 100 people. The next group--half a little more above average and half a little more below includes 95 out of 100. That includes people up to 120.

My daughter had  120 and got a doctorate in surface chemistry from Harvard because she loved school and worked hard. But, there are people who wait tables and work in garages with 150. The moral here is first that we should never act snooty toward people who wait on us or fix our cars and second that a number is just a number. Maybe the waitress or mechanic are happy in what they do. Is it better to be a happy waitress or a miserable chemist?

You already have what it takes. What you have learn to do is use it to your advantage.

Well that's good but remember a lot can change over the course of the next eight years as you continue to go through puberty. Also where did you take your IQ test? If it was tickle.com it is false. You have to go into a doctor's office for it to be official and reliable.

If your IQ is 127, it means you are above average. An IQ of 127 and fifty cents will buy you a soda from a vending machine.  My point is that your IQ is a number which has little bearing on what you decide to do with your life.  There are many people with much higher IQ's who are sitting behind bars in our prisons.

IQ is really a measure of your apptitute for learning, your recall ability and how well you retain new info.

It can change with age, since your are expected to know more and more as you get older.
