If my kid gets beat up in March of 2009 can I blame the "Liar" or the "Dinosaur" after the election?

Well, since everyone in this country is so Naive to think that once the elected candidate takes office this country will be 100 PERCENT perfect....can I blame the elected president for all the unruly teenagers at my daughters high school?

That is a great observance, If you think about it, a lot of people seem to have that outlook, and we are in such a disaster with just the debt alone! So many issues to be addressed. It will take a lot more than 4 or even 8 years. But that is why hopefully the next administration will some how hold people accountable for the jobs they are in. Especially in Washington.And it needs to trickle down to the local levels as well. I know that may seem like a tall order, but our country is in such a mess that no matter who wins this election, they surely will appear far from perfect!

Yes, in fact, not only ca you blame him, you can sue him!  Once whoever it is becomes the President, he is likely to make you depressed because based on your short statement above you obviously are too disillusioned to even make a reasonable choice between two men who are more qualified and better at their jobs then any person you have ever met.  (That is how people become Senators and Governors and Presidents, by doing the stuff you are unwilling to do, regardless of the fact that you cannot satisfy anyone and will be criticized no matter what by someone's side).  Your depression will defiantly cause you to start slaking in your parental duties, which in turn will make you miss the signs that your child is being picked on and becoming depressed as well.  When your child goes to school one day, her depression and loneliness will peak when she smarts off to the local bully, who is already tired of her EMO c**p, thus leading to the bully to have his girlfriend then slap some sense into her.  This will lead to more emotional damage, which you will immediate identify and then  use to sue the people to blame in order to get out of the financial disaster the last 8 years of presidency have left you. And you will then feel better...until you actually have to make another responsible decision, which you may or may not make....
