We recently put down roach bait. We also dusted some areas with boric acid. My kitten loves to catch roaches, play with them, and sometimes eat them. If the roach or roaches have poison on them (from the boric acid) or in them (from the roach baits) will my kitten get sick or possibly even die?

  1. no ur cat may get a little sick try taking your cat to a vet or animal hospital to have your cat looked at

  2. yes

  3. Yes. If the roach has the poison and your kitten eats it, it will get sick or even die. Even if your kitten uses its paws to touch it and licks its paws afterwards, it may also get sick, so be careful!

  4. Depends on how old your kitten is.  If you see ANY reactions in the next hour or so, (drooling, vomiting, heaving, opening and closing of the mouth as if it were trying to yawn or ANY blood) then an emergency vet is needed immediately.  Recommendation is, if its a kitten especially very young 7 weeks to 10 and you want to be safe, take it in to your vet.  Just to be on the safe side.  Poisons can shut down organs and cause all shorts of damage.

  5. YOUR KITTEN WONT DIE UNLESS THE KITTEN CONSUMES TONS OF ROACHES LACED WITH BORAX ACID

No .. the roaches have protein in them..

Yes Boric Acid . is a poison.. However unless the kitten consumer tons of roaches..they won't kill them

Keep the kitten away from the disinfected area until the procedure is

finished and GET RID OF ROACHES..
