If my leg muscles ache from preseason, do i ice or heat them?

  1. icy hot works really well.

    I like to use ice to dull the pain & heat to relax the muscles!

  3. Ice will reduce swelling; heat will relieve cramps. Does your team have a trainer? Let  your legs dangle so no weight is on them, and have him squeeze them to test for spasm. Some people (like me) do best by alternating ice and heat.
