Question:

If my marriage is declared "invalid", will the health insurance benefits received have to be "repaid"?

Since it was discovered that my ex-wife's sole reason for entering into a relationship with me was to swindle me out of cash and health insurance benefits, my "marriage" to this CON ARTIST has been ruled "invalid".

Does this mean that all the Health Insurance benefits she obtained for herself and her son (while "posing" as my wife), now have to be repaid to the Insurance Company?

NOTE: Her FRAUDULENT Insurance Claims have continued since our divorce (8 claims), AFTER she was no longer entitled to use my insurance policy.

  1. It is gonna take a while to  find the answer for your question on internet.I provide a related and good resource here for your reference.http://health-insurance.expert-tip.info/...

  2. The claims paid during the marriage, while she was still on your policy, before the marriage was anulled, are valid.  They still get paid.

Once you took her off your policy, the insurance company still paid her claims?  THOSE are the ones they will be able to collect back from her.

It's up to YOU, the SUBSCRIBER, to notify the insurance company, within 30 days of a qualifying event - such as a declaration of nullity.

  3. If she received health benefits on fraudulent terms then the insurance company would be very happy to hear about it. You should contact the company's fraud department and let them know. Depending upon the situation and if the court has determined what you said they may go after her.
