  1. If she uses a double surname, it can vary with different cultures.  In English speaking countries, the maiden name is first followed by her husband's surname, but in Hispanic countries it is just the opposite.

Actually, they have a unique way that would confuse most people of English speaking origins.

The husband's surname is his father's followed by his mother' maiden name.

The wife and children are her husband's followed by her maiden name

    until the daughter gets married

She drops her mother's maiden name, pushes her father's name to the right and puts her husband's name in front.

  2. A woman's maiden name is what her last name (surname) was before she got married and took on her husband's last name.  It is the surname she had from birth until marriage.

  3. In other cultures, the last name is the maiden name...(listed after a woman is married) so she would be Matilde Maisonet prior to her marriage to Senior Maldonado. Then she is known as Senora Matilde Maldonado Maisonet.  (Sorry, can't do the tilde.)

  4. In some cultures the mother's middle name is the maiden name.

So it will be Matilde Maldonado.

  5. Eminem

  6. How are we supposed to know? She's your mother
