  1. You might be, but it depends on alot of different factors, not just your genetic history. Discuss it with your doctor and they can give you a better perspective on it.

  2. no, she has nothing to do with you

  3. its not 100% you will be high risk. both my parents have high blood pressure and my mother had preeclampsia when she was preg with me but i had PERFECT blood pressure even when i was so preg i was wanting to have high blood pressure so they would induce me it was still good so not necessarily but you do have a chance just like anybody else. your problems could just be that your body isn't ready to be pregnant. i was having unprotected s*x for 3 years then got on the pill and 2 years later while on the pill got pregnant. things are just weird sometimes

  4. Not necessarily (or even probably). It depends on why your mother was high risk. Was she over weight, did she have a previous miscarriage, was she over 35...these are all factors that could contribute to a high risk pregnancy, along with many others. Also, difficulty conceiving and high risk pregnancy are two way different end of the spectrums. If you are having trouble conceiving for more than two years, you should seek out a fertility specialist.

  5. It depends on why your mother was considered high risk.  If it was a hereditary disorder, then yes, you could be.  If/when you do conceive, make sure you tell your OBGYN the problems your mom had and they can better assess your situation.

    God bless and good luck.

  6. I did hear something about this the other day. I do not know if its true or not. My mom never had any high risk pregnancies, but my sister had 3 of her 4 pregnancies be high risk and I had 2 of my 3, be high risk. But everyone is different. Once you do get pregnant, your doctor will tell you if anything is wrong and if you are high risk or not.

  7. I would have to say it would depend on why she was on high risk. If it was something genetic and it caused her pregnancies to be difficult then yes it could affect you because you could have inherited what it was. If it was something like gestational diabetes or preeclampsia those are different with each and every pregnancy. I asked my dr at the first OB when they are asking you what kind of genetic diseases and conditions run in your family and they dont ask anythign about when your mother was pregnant with you because its all irrelevant because each woman is different. I also asked since my mom had gestational diabetes with me and not my other siblings would that make me more adapt to getting gestational diabetes while pregnant and she said no its just depends on your diet and it is different for everyone. Good luck!

  8. If you're having problems conceiving, then that's probably why you are having problems. However, my mom was high risk with my brother and I, and I had smooth sailing through my pregnancy. Good luck!
