I know, it's a dumb question, but I'm only sixteen okay?

I've never known, Do I pay the shipping cost of 8.82?

Or do I pay it in stamps?

Because I know without enough stamps, it can't go far enough.

It's odd yes, but thanks for any help!

Oh, and negative feedback isn't nessecary.

Thank you! :D

  1. take your package to the post office and pay the teller. from there you can purchase insurance or a proof of mailing, the teller will put a sticker on it and it will be paid for as you give the person your money. then he/ she will put it in the mail to be mailed. good luck!

  2. You could use that many stamps but that's risky because it would cover such a large area of the package and would require hand-canceling of the entire massive bunch.

If you take it to the post office they will run a tape that adheres to the package showing the full postage paid.  Hope this helps.

  3. If you're buying something online- you pay the shipping cost to the company you're buying from. If you're mailing something to someone- you can do either- pay the $8.82 to the post office or put that much in stamps.

  4. ~~There are a couple of choices. You can mail it from the post office and pay the clerk right at the counter, then they put the postage sticker on it. Or you can go to www.usps.com and just print the label yourself (you will need your parents to allow you to use their credit card). Then you print out the label and tape it on the package. Both are way easier than using all those individual stamps!~~

  5. I would suggest that you make a trip to the post office and pay there to have it shipped. It would take too many stamps to pay it that way.
