If my rumored ex-girlfriend lies to me about her being pregnant, then should I just back off of her?

A girl that's been rumored to be my ex-girlfriend told me a few months back that she's pregnant. Now I find out that she was lying. I don't like it when people lie...so should I just back off of her? Also (before I found out that it was a lie) it was rumored that I was her baby's father...but I knew I wasn't when I told the people that spread that rumor but they don't believe me...I knew I wasn't when she told me because I didn't even talk to her for A LONG TIME.

Sounds to me that you shouldn't give the rumor mill any new material to invent stories to.

just move on, forget about her get yourself out there and find somebody thats worthwhile!

You really need to get a life of your own. Is this girl your girl friend or not?  In order for her to be your ex-girlfriend, she first had to be your girlfriend.  You should probably find a new circle of friends, it appears that your so called friends are having a good laugh at your expense.

I'm not sure how she can be rumored to be your ex-girlfriend -- either she is or she isn't.  Either way, you don't need this kind of drama in your life -- there is enough drama in life without creating more.  Time to move on and find a new lady.......
