  1. no mostly collages go to club games to look 4 player

  2. now a days most college coaches are more interested in club teams than high schools unless they are top in state because they tend to have better coaching and usually more experience.  Also, at tounraments they are more apt to see more girls at once than at high school games.  If you are worried that your chances will decrease just condition in the off season so you will be fresh and on top of your game when the club season starts.

  3. No. Because if you have credits for it allready they can not take the credits away.

  4. If your school cuts volleyball at your school there is a small chance that your college "stock" will go down a little as thats less time on the court.  However, the good news is that a lot, if not all, college coaches that travel to recruit go to club tournaments so you will still have exposure.  If you are really worried I would suggest making a recruitment tape that showcases basic skills and maybe a bit of game tape, but don't make it the next sportscenter top 10 highlights... make it true to how you play.

  5. They really look at your club stuff because club is way more extreme. Don't most people get a scholarship from their club?//

  6. it would effect your chances but college coaches do look at club, thats why so many seniors play club to end or pursue their career. if not a lot of people are gonna play  try to find people, good luck with everything

  7. The only thing it will hurt you is the lack of reps during the season.  Get together with your friends and play during the fall during open gym.  As pointed out above, club is where most college coaches do their recruiting.  It is easier for them since it is not during their season and they can travel to the qualifiers or regional championships and see hundreds of teams at a time.  (I think Lone Star had over 180 courts in the Dallas Convention Center.  Figure an average of 8 teams per court and 10 players per team.)

The other alternative is for you to start recruiting players for your school team.  If you are lacking players, figure out why that is happening and see if you can help get it fixed.  Is it the coaching staff?  Or lack of coaching staff?  Try to talk with the athletic director of the school and see what you can do to help keep the program alive.  Get your team mates to work with you.

    Good luck.

  8. I agree with Gary, It may have a slight effect as you wont have the senior season stats. So, Keep stats for Club. If your not playing club you may want to rethink that decision fast!

Also get some video from the club season to show college coaches.

    good luck

  9. Not at all.  My boyfriend's friend went to a school without a men's volleyball team.  He played Boys Club Volleyball and played in Men's Leagues and pick up games whenever he got a chance.  He also played beach volleyball constantly...

He played for Long Beach in college and now plays on a Puerto Rican National Team.

When I was getting recruited for college, the coaches I talked to didn't even care about my high school program.

  10. I've heard more people get recruited from club volleyball.
