My skis are about an inch too long.

Do stores do this? I mean, have you ever heard of this?

  1. Wow. To start off, NO. There is no right size for a ski. Its just what you feel comfortable. And to Wussy guy if your claiming the ski needs to be over head to be a man, Talk to Bode. He is on 176 Slalom skis is going faster than your 200cm's. Look at the skis the world cup guys are on, that should shut you up fast.

  2. Ebay.......

  3. no wont work

but now u can get good non twin tip skis cheaply

and size...that guy that says long skis are bad on packed snow (also called GROOMED dumbass)  is stupid.  long skis are better for going faster on groomed stuff, and skiing 200s that are skinny in powder is horrible.  I like about 170 or so, bit more for park.

  4. No, and there is no such thing as skis that are too long.

There is a current fad of short wussie sticks, but real men use skis taller than their heads.

  5. One inch will not make a difference!

  6. Skis have contours and curvatures in different directions specific for their size and the weight they can carry in specific snow conditions.  A longer ski may not be optimum for hard pack or man made snow, but may be better for powder.  Unless you are in some sort of competition, I would not think an inch would make much difference.

As long as your bindings are set properly you should not break a leg.
