If my transmission is slipping and my check engine light come on what should i do?

do what the light tells you to do.  "check engine".  Could be you are low on transmission fluid?

i'm pretty sure you check engine light isn't on for the transmission slipping. You need to check the fluid first off. If it is fine then maybe try a new transmission filter and fluid change. It might help but if it really is slipping then the damage is already done. Unless one of the sensors for the line pressure is bad it might set off the light. Best thing to do is check the fluid then take it to autozone or a mechanic that can pull the code out of the computer and see what it says then post back up.
