If my xbox 360 gets the red ring of death is it possible to?

send it back to get it fixed? I bought it off ebay so i dont have the recipt or warranty. Did anyone have to send it back, and if you did, what did info microsoft need so as to fix it?

Yes, you can. Microsoft has given out an extra 3 year warranty to all xboxes. So if it gets red rings of death they don't ask for a receipt. Just call them and they will send you a prepaid box to ship it to them.

My husband had the problem with his about a year ago.  He was going to send it in, but people were saying it took a LONG time.  He tried something he saw on you tube and it actually worked great!  No problems since!!
