  1. At this stage the game has only ever lost 1 side that has not reformed or been represented by other clubs in the same area, that side being Adelaide Rams

Balmain Tigers - now part of a merger club with West Magpies

Illawarra Steelers - now part of merger with St George Dragons.

North Sydney Bears - South Sydney Rabbitohs reserve grade side, will soon be known as Central Coast Bears.

Northern Eagles - changed there name back to Manly Sea Eagles

St George Dragons - part of merger with Illawarra Steelers

Western Suburbs Magpies - part of merger with Balmain Tigers

Seagulls - rebirthed 10 years later as a Titan.

  2. They either merged with other clubs or went broke and had to step out the NRL comp... you really need to get over ur obsession with trying to strike arguments in the league sections, none of us come to the AFL side to bag you out.. we dont waste our time... so just back off...

  3. if your so successful why are you trying to make new clubs in nsw and qld and why do your clubs borrow so much money??

  4. All the teams defunct/merger over the History of the NRL:

    Adelaide · Annandale · Balmain · Cumberland · Glebe · Gold Coast · Hunter - Illawarra · Newcastle · Newtown · North Sydney · Northern Eagles - Perth · South Queensland · St. George · University · Western Suburbs

All the teams defunct/merger over the History of the AFL:

Brisbane Bears · Fitzroy · University

You make the comparison, I am not taking sides as I like both codes.
