If nadal were to face federer in tthe wimbledon final who will win?

this time round? considering how nadal have improved in grass, federer have played badly this year and how he trashed federer in french open.

I feel so bad for federer he isnt getting the respect he deserves from the tennis commentators.... he has yet to lose a set and looks just as solid as nadal.... he is the master of grass and noone will ever take that away from him..... i predict a rematch once again but federer in 4... although this time around it will be a little bit harder for federer

Its a tough call but both of them are playing well enough to beat each other. On grass, you have to go with the defending champion, someone who has won so many times. So Federer has an advantage on that.

But wont be surprised at all if Nadal beats him. Nadal is playing very well too.

With all these allegations about him being vulnerable I really think Federer is out for revenge.He has not dropped a set so far.He's on an amazing streak and is positively thrashing his opponents.I'm sure that beyond anything else Federer wants to prove Borg wrong.Nothing against Nadal..he will win Wimbledon someday.But I seriously think this time Roger is geared up to prove why he's the best player of all time.(yes, I'm calling Federer the greatest of all time because he has managed to reach the French Open final thrice despite of clay being his least fevourite surface and has lost only to Nadal who is the greatest clay court player of time .He has also defeated Nadal in Hamburg masters last year)..besides im not supporting nadal mainly because I find his game one dimensional..Roger has a better all court game

fedex is the best player i have ever seen on grass.he is the  king of grass. i think nadal doesn't play better anywhere than he plays on clay. so it is simple as that fedex will surely win

Among the above answers, it is 6-3 in favor of Federer. I initially predicted that Nadal would win, although I hope deep down that Federer wins.

For me, Nadal would be favourite.

The Wimbledon courts are playing even slower this year, playing into his hands.  His all round game has improved, his forehand is now explosive.  

Federer won an easy tournament in Halle and Hewitt is far and away the toughest test he has had on grass this year.  So despite not dropping a set (he only dropped like 3 at the Roland Garros before the final anyway!) there are still questions about how well Federer will match up.

I still think Federer will win it, but Nadal should be the favourite.
