  1. Yes. The internet can be developed using the other lines like the cable TV or the power lines. It can also be by wireless.

  2. IF by phone lines, you are referring to EVERYTHING that is run on telephone cabling, including T-1 lines, and other backbone internet infrastructure cabling then the answer would be yes, but very limited. The communication would probably be limited to local nodes, and have to be accessed via cable modem service, or fiber to the premise services (FiOS)

dial up, DSL, T-1, ISDN, cellular and many other internet technologies would not be able to connect, as they all rely on the telephone networks infrastructure.

Ham or amature radio operators would probably find some method of attempting to bridge networks in distant locations via radio waves.

  3. Ha! You have Mr. Patricks.... I don't know either but I think the answer is yes because I was reading this article on this wireless router which sends a wifi signal, the cool part about it is it has a 60 MILE RADIUS so like it covers 120 miles that's a huge hotspot it cost $500 and like yeah a laptop or say a wii can use that to connect to the internet because like the wii has an internet channel so yeah the wii can use that.......................................
