If not because of evolution ...

... why do you think men have nipples?

And a rudimentary, non-functioning womb?

Comments welcome, but please read on before answering.

All male mammals including humans have nipples. According to Dr. David Ruben, et al, men have tiny little uteruses too.

One explanation is that all mammals are inherently female (and begin life as an "Eve" rather than an "Adam"). Do creationists believe this?

According to livescience, men's "b*****s" are evidence indicating how evolution works: http://www.livescience.com/history/080606-hn-manzeer.html

  1. Why are you asking for the opinion of creationists when you obviously know they are wrong.

  2. Ughhh, three things here are disturbing to me.

"why do you think men have nipples?

    And a rudimentary, non-functioning womb?"

"men have tiny little uteruses too"

I suggest you find answers to creation with Ken Ham, he'll show you the truth.  He's easy to find, very famous, google him.

  3. Nipples: embryonic mammals begin as gender neutral... being they have Both s*x'sl traits  while developing towards fetuses.

I dont think I have a womb or uteruses....

    One Good Question would be:

Why would God Create a Man with nipples?

  4. woah, never knew. you learn something new every day.

  5. There is no evidence that creationists will ever accept.  They could just claim god has his own reasons for doing it that way.  Trying to engage them in scientific debate is pointless.

  6. Nipples aren't a s*x-linked characteristic. In other words, nipples are just one of those sexually neutral pieces of equipment, like arms or brains, that humans get regardless of s*x.

Livescience is full of morons. They promote the BIG BANG! You know, that contradiction that can happen just once but never again? Something from nothing -_-

    Wake up please.

  7. Evolution and creationism are not mutually exclusive. Evolution can simply be God's method.

  8. KEN HAM?!?!?   ROFL!  YOU MUST BE KIDDING!  He's the guy who established the Creationist Museum!  He's the guy that, with only belief and an idea, claims that the Earth is only 6000 years old!  He's the guy that has humans and dinosaurs existing on Earth at the same time (he must have watched too many episodes of the "Flintstones.")

Well, let's have a Yabba doo time right now and make things real simple for those creationists.

First ... you're all christians and it is ONLY the christians who maintain a belief in creationism.  Since there are other religions and those religions have different beliefs, it makes your BELIEF irrelevant.  In addition, all of those beliefs invoke the supernatural and once you do that, it immediately invalidates your belief as it cannot be repeated and if it can't be repeated it can't be proven.

Despite the incredible EVIDENCE for evolution and the lies that surround creation, we still have creationists working at denying the evidence for evolution.

I always find it interesting that creationists reject the evidence that life can only come from life and that humans evolved from lower life forms such as apes. Yet at the same time, those same creationists have no problem simply believing a book, written 1800 years ago by scientific illiterates, that states that humans came from dirt.

OH ... one more thing ... Men DO NOT have a tiny uterus.  However, male and female reproductive parts are homologous to each other.  Testes and ovaries are the same size and mass and both have similar functions.  If you traced the origin of all of the parts, all parts have the same cells as their starting point.  However, it is the influence of female or male s*x hormones that cause the bifurcation into male and female parts.

  9. There is an error here.  Men do not have a uterus.  I have never seen one in a cadaver.  I have never seen any description in my anatomy books.  I have no idea who David Ruben is, but I seriously doubt that he is an anatomist.

  10. you have two strands of DNA for a reason...yes, we are linked to animals (thus nipples)...and another 'something' if you will...

  11. It's part of the X chromosome women get two X's and men get a X and a Y.

  12. cause we all start off as women in the womb.

  13. This is how they reply to things like that:

"Ughhh, three things here are disturbing to me.

"why do you think men have nipples?

    And a rudimentary, non-functioning womb?"

"men have tiny little uteruses too"

I suggest you find answers to creation with Ken Ham, he'll show you the truth. He's easy to find, very famous, google him."

Translation - I simply ignore information that contradicts my worldview and tell you to read something by a hack who agrees with me

"Nipples aren't a s*x-linked characteristic. In other words, nipples are just one of those sexually neutral pieces of equipment, like arms or brains, that humans get regardless of s*x."

Really?  Then what is the function of the male nipple?

Translation - I'll just make some c**p up to justify my beliefs.

"Livescience is full of morons. They promote the BIG BANG! You know, that contradiction that can happen just once but never again? Something from nothing"

Translation - I have not studied the science behind these topics at all but have already concluded I'm right so everyone who says something otherwise must necessarily be wrong and a moron.

Creationists are not interested in logic and reason.  They are only interested in what supports their personal beliefs.  If you say something that contradicts them, there is no honest examination of your claim.  There is only 'How can I twist this to fit what I believe.'

I forget who said it, but "You can't dispel with reason what someone learned to believe without reason."

  14. I'm not certain exactly what reptile but I believe their is a males species that can reproduce with itself if it has to in order for it to survive. Parthenogenesis in Komodo dragons for example. It means that you can reproduce with out reprocreation. That has always been my speculation with males that if evolution really gets to going this Parthenogenesis may happen. Just a simple theory, that I like to go with.
