... that should become wholesome and spawn other planets with such life?

Are we the beginning?

Is that the meaning of life? That we get better and learn more to want to preserve everything we have living around us today?

  1. Death is what pushes us to move forward instead of staying in one place for our entire lives. The thought of death motivates us to do everything we possibly can before we're out of time. It makes us want to look for meaning and experience everything that life has to offer you. Maybe the meaning of life is just to live and progress. I really don't know...

  2. The opening lines suffer from all manor of logical fallacies.

Keep in mind simply stating something as if it is true does not make it so.

I am inclined to agree that this would be a noble goal even assuming that other life outside of earth exists.

  3. i doubt were the 'beggining' but we certainly have the option.

  4. Everything is God and so everything is the Alpha and Omega. I don't think using the idea of death to give life meaning is a very good philosophy, it's like the rest of society where the emotional tone level is either death or lower than that. Life should be lived without the morbid idea of death. But you need an inward joy which our controllers have taken away from us to hammer us down into obeyance. You have to break away from that and start by tossing out your TV.

Humanoid forms have evolved through the stages of evolution all over the universe and in other universes so there is no need to take our planet's life forms to other planets, there's plenty of life-supporting planets that already have identical life forms as we do.

  5. Life wouldn't be pointless if we lived forever. Think about it. What really matters in life? Love, compassion, friends, family, following your passion, etc. Those things would still be there if we lived forever. People might even have more compassion, because they wouldn't be stressed, thinking, "I can't help you today, because I'm late for an appointment." If we lived forever, we would have more time to pursure our dreams, even more than one.

Eternal life just means more chances to love, laugh, and enjoy life.

  6. It really bothers me when people assume that if we wouldn't die or if we were all the same life would be horrible! That's not true.  If nothing died, of course people would have emotions and compassions. People would be as they were! Life is already pointless... As a matter of fact, life is more pointless because we DO die... there's less purpose. If we didn't die, we would have greater purpose, because we would have more time to get what we want done. We would have time to pursue stuff... When you told someone you'd wait for them, you could because you'd probably have the time. Things would't seem so petty anymore if  you didn't die!

  7. No we're not the beginning. No that's not the meaning of life.No other planet in our solar system can support life. After our solar system, there's nothing for ages. Then there's aload of ice, then there's nothing again for ages and ages.

Human's will never colonize other planets.Scientists, still haven't found any planets,in any galaxy that could support life.Only maybe's.

The meaning of life is far simpler than anyone could imagine.

  8. Yep!
