  1. No.  Once a sentence of imprisonment is imposed, the rich must serve it as well as the poor.  If one pursues an appeal, it is theoreticaly possible to get bond pending the appeal, but ultimately one must serve the sentence imposed by the court.


  2. Bond is money put up to guarantee appearance at a hearing and/or trial. Once a person is convicted bond no longer applies unless an appeal is granted on the charges.

    Being sentanced mean you go to jail.

    Bail is only possible during the time a person is arrested and when they plea bargain or go to trial for the crime.  Once convicted, they are sentanced and go to jail.
