By 'control' I mean is the administrator.

I need to know what exactly they can do, and what exactly they can view, and how to protect myself from it being viewed.

I need serious answers.

  1. I don't think an admin. can overview all your personal emails and such. That would just be invasion of privacy, to computers who have that kind of system.

Unless they are some sort of hackers, the admin. shoulkdn't be able to view your personals.

make sure you log out of all your accounts before exiting the screen, just to be sure.

  2. The admin of a computer or network know everything.

He does not know you password or financial information, as long as you use safe computer practices they will not be able to find that info.

They could install a keylogger and they could remotely view your screen... however it depends on how things are set up... if it is a network or just one pc.

They can see and access all your files, history, actions, etc.

Just log out everytime and make sure you practice safe computing!

  3. Yes they can. An Administrator has complete control over the computer and can view any other user's accounts. The only way to avoid this is to buy your own computer and set yourself up as the Administrator.

  4. They can view ANYTHING stored on the computer.  They can NOT view stuff on web-sites, unless those sites are cached on the machine  (if you clear your private data from your web browser they won't see it.)

If you told the computer to save your passwords, they CAN view those and log into the sites as you.
