  1. well according to current time thats approximatly 6000 years ago.

    Scientists have actually found proof that it is likely we have cut 1000 years out of time.  Apparently it is possible our year should be in the 31st Century because in the time between the fall of Rome and Rise of English and start of the middle ages people forgot to record time and yer.

    This is only a possibility though and is highly unlikely to be true with the infomation the scientists have at the moment.


  2. The first answerer is drastically wrong, so I think they must've misread the question.  The 4th century BC theoretically ran from 399 to 300 BC, and began theoretically 2407 years ago.  As this year is 2008 AD all you have to do is add 2008 and 399.

    I say "theoretically" as nobody was counting the years in this way until a few centuries after Jesus was reported to have been born, and the original guess as to which year that actually was is probably a bit wrong.

  3. First response is not correct.  The fourth century BC would be from 400 BC (2408 years ago) to 301 BC (2309 years ago).
