If only my address is printed incorrectly on a ticket, is it valid?

i live in colorado....i live on 334 lakeside and he wrote the ticket t0 335 lakeside

  1. You could have moved from on side of the state to the other and it would not matter.  Given some of the handwriting I have seen, you probably can't even prove the 5 is not a 4.


  2. Yes, the ticket is valid. Your house did not commit a traffic violation, you did.

    Mistakes on tickets can be amended at any time. As long as there is enough information to identify you, and the officer can testify to the violation, the ticket will remain valid.

  3. That means nothing.  Just a minor clerical error that can be fixed in two seconds flat.

  4. Yes your ticket is still valid. The police officer may eventually fill out a citation correction and it will be sent to you. But even if you don't receive anything you still have to show to court. I know, it sucks that there's no loophole for that =P
