If our seniors like Ganguli and Tendulkar were selected for asia cup then who are to be droped.?

Actually, I don't think that Sachin and Sourav would be called back for the Asia Cup. Sachin may not be fully fit in time to join the Indian squad for the Asia Cup, and the selection of Sourav Ganguly is out of the question, because unfortunately our selectors prefer to regard him as a forgotten episode in Indian cricket. So, irrespective of performance, dada will always be ignored.

But if they were to form a part of the Asia cup squad, then I think that the players whose performance wouldn't upto the mark in the upcoming tri series in Bangladesh ought to be dropped. Robin Uthappa and Suresh Raina aren't very consistent performers, so if they fail to score well in the next series as well, they can be a choice to be dropped from the team in order to accomodate the real match winners-Sachin & Sourav. Afterall, we need atleast some experience in the team. But probably, this won't happen. The young team is likely to be retained for the Asia cup.

Like it or not age is catching up. I would personally like to see both the batsmen playing for India in Bangladesh. It would mean a great deal for the Bangladeshi nation and players alike. Sometimes the occasion is greater than the event, so winning or losing for me is no real big deal as long as they play in Bangladesh and thrill the crowds. With the passage of time and years creeping up slyly, time to move on must be on their agenda too. This makes way for a new generation of players. I am not by the way referring to just these two, there are others who should be looking ahead. They did their country proud, what more can one ask?

Since Ganguly was not selectedfor ODI series against Australia and as he did not perform exceptionally well in IPL, there was no question of his selection for Asia Cup. However, if Ganguly and Tendulkar were to be selected it would have been atthe expenseof Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma.

I would say:

-Robin Uthappa: he is probably the most inconsisten batsman in the India squad. Though we all know every person would want to be a part of the squad, he hasn't been trying hard enough to prove his commitment. He made a high score of only 86

-Suresh Raina- throughout his short-lived national team carreer, he has not settled in and made a convincing point to make a high score.

must  if any one will be droped in above six batsman then

it will be un justification with that player because they all

performed well in IPL as well as in domestic cricket and

CB series and T-20 world cup. very dificult to say any thing

only Tendulkar can get place in place of Raina only.
