  1. That is interesting, but has no proof or evidence behind it. Humans are always evolving, the problem is that our culture allows bad genes that would normally be selected against in nature to prosper. My belief is that in time, a major disaster or war will separate human lineages, because of genetic drift and the hardships involved with life these separated populations may evolve into different types of humans if allowed ample time.

    Even if there is not a war, we will still evolve, just much more slowly and because of natural selection not playing as big of a part we not not evolve necessarily "better".


  2. The only species I can see developing are the cyborgs, since we already use robots-like features & body parts in medical fields.

    Genetically enhanced humans will be difficult since some strongly opposed to start / test it to human subjects.
