If paypal is asking me to authenticate the item is that mean i'm on the way of getting money back?

I'm a buyer who unfortunately bought a fake LV on ebay, and had try to get money back through paypal, now paypal is asking me to authenticate the item and send copy of authentication to them. is that mean i'm nearly there to get my money back

If they are asking you to authenticate that it is a fake, then yes but I think they are asking if you did agree to the purchase even though it turned out to be fake.
