If people are really worried about the polar bears..?

then why dont they just take them from the melting ice and put them in a better enviorment that they can live in. Like building a zoo just meant for the endangered polar bears!? They could make a lot of them.

Zoos aren't a healthy environment for animals meant to live in the wild.

Even if this was successful in "saving" the polar bears, what would you think of only having saved bears in captivity?

Your idea sounds good until you think of it like this:

There are many school shootings, endangering children. What if we put children in jails, to keep them safe, and let the school shooters shoot the rest of the children?

It's a terrible idea, right? So is saving some polar bears in zoos, which are basically prisons for animals meant to expose us to the glories of animals, and letting their environment be destroyed.

I love zoos, but I also know that animals just don't flourish there. They live longer, but it's not the same as being out in the wild.

that is a possibility but then youd need to supply their food and game, and competition. polar bears are different then tigers or pandas that can just be put in a habitat and survive.

and im sure many people have though of this idea and who knows they could possibly have something like it in the works.

There's actually more polar bears now than their ever has been. In fact, the mayor of Alaska is pleading with people to not make a big deal. She thinks theirs to many.

This ordeal is just another way for democrats to make money and fool ignorant people into supporting their lame, debunked environmental cause.

A zoo could not house that many bears.  You need many many bears or they become inbred.

And are you too young to not see the tragedy in losing wildness?

There are polar bears in at least one zoo.  In Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada we have polar bears in our zoo.  

The problem is that the polar bear's natural habitat is changing and making it difficult for them to find food and survive the winter.  They are having to go more and more south to look for food and the ice flows are melting forcing them to change their hunting style and patterns.
