I mean if a rabbit survived a bite of a werewolf by some freak occurrence, could he not become a were-rabbit?

  1. Well, how many were-fleas and were-woodticks would you have running around?  They'd be biting the werewolf while he was running around.

  2. No. The meaning of "were wolf" is man-wolf, so a were-rabbit, or whatever, would be a man who turns into a rabbit, not a rabbit that turns into some kind of killer rabbit-wolf thing.

  3. Watch courage the cowardly dog...there's an episode with a were-rabbit :).

  4. werewolves are creatures of the night...the werewolf is a wolf creature it isn't a zoo-morph because wolves are associated with the moon, werewolves don't go after rabbits they go after humans to eat their hearts especially the hearts of maidens.

  5. I suggest you watch Courage the Cowardly dog.
