If people convert from one faith to another, why do some relatives get mad at all the members of the other?

religion instead of taking it up with the specific congregation, missionary or person who converted?

  1. Because they blame them. Blame? Yes. The convert has abandoned  his own family for the family of the other.

    Ignore. Just be grateful that people have shown their true colours. you can't be friends with everybody in the world and

    it is hard enough to keep our bed partner happy let alone all those who are not invited there. You're all grown up, aren't you? Just show it. But if you do not believe in a god, become an atheist and be done with it.


  2. Because our religion is right and yours is wrong.

    In my experience, most religious people are pretty immature.

  3. Because they think that whatever religions congregation, missionary, etc they converted to are corrupting their mind with lies.

  4. Because people are extremely stubborn.

  5. Some people get mad because they feel the family have been betrayed and other times because they have lost control of the person choosing what suits them best.
