  1. I believe that to impeach a President of the United States of America, he/she has to commit one of a set of very specific crimes that would make him/her not fit to be President and therefore not leader of the free world.

You must stop and realise that a lot of the so called "hate" that is directed towards President Bush and by default all American Presidents, is a beat-up by some liberal left groups that have taken in more recent times with some Islamic groups. This has been exaggerated in the media and led people to have a distorted view of not only the President of the USA but also other world leaders who have participated in keeping peace and good order in Western society.

There is no reason for President Bush, who in spite of his sometimes awkward and amusing ways, is a good man trying to do a very difficult job, to be impeached. I am saying this, not as an American citizen but as a member of an English speaking country with a similar culture to the US. I would not want to see our Western civilization wrecked based on a whim. You should not be led astray by the emotive reporting the the media.

    Regards!!!

  2. Well... It's kinda of hard to impeach a man who stole not one, but TWO elections. (don't forget the Ohio debacle)

  3. Hatred does not equate to an impeachable offense.

  4. hating a president isnt a valid reason for him to be impeached

  5. Congress has to do that

  6. So far everyone is right about how you can't impeach a president just because you hate him, but where everyone went wrong is how they say he has to commit a crime first.  There are 30 articles proving that Bush has committed crimes, not just once, but over and over again.  The people don't have a voice in this country, and Bush is a felon.

  7. ugh. you can't impeach a president just because you don't like him.

  8. cause congress does not act right and do the right things now.  There is no longer such a thing as doing things on principles. Its all politics.  The democrats in congress know that Bush should be impeached but have said they wont try to do it...cause they actually did not want to turn him into some sort of martyr.  They actually wanted him to stay in office so they could keep bashing him and have him keep destroying the country...as it would improve their chances of winning the election.

  9. By in large Congress is composed of lawyers who follow the law.  It would set a very bad precident to impeach Bush just because you do not like him and his policies.  He was elected and served his terms.  He will be out soon.  We now have a chance to elect anouther guy.  Not that he will be any better, because they are all human and commit many errors.

  10. What a silly question. Just because people hate him, is no reason to have him impeached.

You have to do something illeagal to be impeached. Bill Clinton was impeached by the house while he was president. Because he lied under oath.

Bush has done nothing illegal. Well nothing that can be proven at this point in time.

  11. usually to be impeached you have to have done something that would affect the U.S. But as to why he's not impeached i dont know except maybe people would rather have him than Cheney. Or because his term's almost done.

  12. Hatred isn't a reason for impeachment. It must be based on an allegation that the President committed a high crime or misdemeanor. What constitutes such a charge is whatever 218 members of the House of Representatives decide it is. If a President is impeached, the House then presents the article(s) of impeachment to the Senate for them to consider whether to vote to expel that President from office. Only two Presidents have been impeached by the House of Representatives. Andrew Johnson of Tennessee and William Jefferson Clinton of Arkansas. Neither man was voted out of office by the Senate. The House Judiciary Committee did recommend articles of impeachment on Richard Milhous Nixon of California, but he resigned his office before the entire House could vote on the committee's report.

  13. wow the ignorance of, well you and many other Americans is appalling. You can't impeach a President unless he commits an actual crime, like Clinton and Nixon did

  14. just because people hated him doesn't mean you can impeach him. a president cannot be impeached just because his popularity wanes. to do this undermines the system that is in place. there is nothing that bush did that wasn't passed in congress.

  15. Ummm, impeached has nothing to do with being removed from office. Impeachment is just a legal process. Look at Bill Clintoon, he was impeached and thumbed the nose at the whole country and remained in office.

Besides, people don't hate President Bush, after all his approval ratings are twice that of Congress.
