Why can they not take Camilla and Charles to their hearts?

Its the great love story played out in films time and time again that people love, but in reality the same people hate her for it.

Personally, i think its great that Charles has finally been able to marry the women he wanted to in the 1st place... there is definately true love between them, and that cannot be bad surely

  1. I think a big part of it is the media spin. If all the magazines claim it is wrong, then we do not want to be different and go along with the mainstream. It takes courage to be different. Someone has to be held accountable for the removal of the ratings/selling power of the media. Camilla Duchess of Cornwall is considered the evil doer so the stories are altered , the main stream now believes she is accountable and selling papers is back in the black. Randolph Hearst once said never let the truth get in the way of a good story.

  2. I saw a photo of Camilla in Diana's bibliography... she was looking up at Charles during the haunting I supposed... she was beautiful... a red head... and when Charles came back from her marine duties...to propose...she had already married... WAS THAT THE REAL STORY??? I don't know, I am non-U.k.  but what a pity right?? she might think that Charles was not seriously in love with her...and ofcourse the Queen wouldn't let her son marrying an ex-wife..

She was the one who suggested that Charles chosed Diana. RIGHT?? maybe she thought by letting him marry a sweet young lady, Charles would eventually forget their relationship...

oh yes.. I read in one article, of why Charles loved her so much.. the princes asked her dad why? Charles said it was because she made him laugh..and at ease..

my boss also ever told me not to be so perfectionist and idealist..when treating a man...I was wondering what he meant... so I watch movies now and then to understand...I think I am going to copy that...huhukk...

but I pity Diana...like most U.K. people and I know all over the world...I am extending my due respect to her, May peace be upon her, esp. today, on her 10th anniversary memorial

  3. Sorry but you are talking rubbish.  The great love story would be if Charles had had the guts to stand up against his family and marry Camilla all those years ago.  I will never ever take Camilla to my heart as you put it.  I used to admire the Royal Family but not after how they treated Diana.  I don't hate Camilla, I don't have any feelings for her whatsoever.  I do think, though, that once Charles had married Diana she should have stepped back and not had anything to do with him.  We are talking here about the future King of England not your ordinary man and woman.  Different rules apply to them.  Look at poor Princess Margaret who wasn't allowed to marry the man she loved even though she would never have succeeded to the throne, yet Charles gets away with it. It's ridiculous.  I just hope and pray that William is our next King or we do away with the farce of Monarchy completely.

  4. Everyone's entitled to their own opinions Mike!!

  5. Yes, if this story had been given the Hollywood treatment, the theme would be all about the faithful lovers who waited for 30 years to be able to marry.

It was a tragedy for all the principals involved, and there has been too much tripe written about it already.

  6. I am in entire agreement with you. As for the one who said he should have married her in the first place, she evidently doesn't understand the way the royalty worked in them days. I for one am happy for them. I think it is great.  Who do these people think they are judging another. look if the princes get on with her, what business is it of anyone else. I feel bad for all the royals actually, with some of the staff who are supposedly sworn to secrecy with what goes on in any of the royal households, they can't wait to spread gossip for large payouts. Yes I can see how they are totally at ease with one another. and Charles does look really relaxed nowadays

  7. I agree with you totally. I always loved the idea of Diana-but it was not a love match and she knew it. Even when they were interveiwed , he was kinda evasive. So I believe Diana went into the marriage knowing Charles did not truly love her. She wanted the glitter-but didn't want to follow the rules. Charles couldn't marry the one he really loved because of who he was and that was sad. The ones who are praising Diana to high heaven should remember she knew what she was doing and she had her affairs also. She would leave her boys at school and go off on these exotic vacations with her lovers and used the media to her benefit. I don't doubt she loved her boys-but it didn't stop her from her affairs. People should stop bashing Charles. He made mistakes like we all do. I'm happy he finally got to marry and be with the women he loves.

  8. Edward and Mrs Simpson was a royal love story and at least he was man enough to stick by the woman he loved.

Even Princess Margret gave up love for the good of the crown.

Charles and Camillas is the story of a man and  his mistress playing around behind his wifes back and making out she was imagining things  while trying not to let any mud stick to him.

I dont blame Camilla it was Charles who married Diana and lied to his mother about his relationship with Camilla.

Good king he is going to make cant even run his personal life without problems.
