If people say "i'm a big joke", should i say "thank you"?

That's an insult.  Even if u consider yourself as a comedian, you're not a joke.  People should laugh with you not at you.  

If you're looking for a fight, go for it.  If not, just clear away from people who called you that.

It depends on how it was said and how you interpret it.

It could be that he meant you are ONE funny guy and the way he said it was accompanied with a smile or a twinkle in the eyes.

Then, it could be that the way he said it was dripping with so much sarcasm which could only mean you are ONE failure or a poor imitation of a funny guy.

The first scenario would be good for you, boost your ego more.  The second would leave you with a dry taste in the mouth so it's best to just ignore him and leave.

when ur nick is seriously taken into consideration, then i'd say it is actually a compliment, and it wouldn't be polite if you wouldnt say thank you. If my nick is Dinosaur, and i was addressed  as a "big dinosaur" then i should definitely be flattered because the remark is actually implying that i'm no ordinary dinosaur - that i'm a bigtime dinosaur. Oh my,..i think i need a cup of coffee..
