  1. They must have a licence from another country so they have the road sense.

  2. The same way that everyone does.................

  3. does anyone follow the highway code to the letter of the law, driving is mainly common sense, living by the channel tunnel and ferry links l see thausands of foreign drivers when they first join our motorway structure, they tend to hog the middle lane for a few miles whilst they get orientated with what side of the road they should be on. don't you think it would have been better to make all cars either right hand drive, or left hand drive?

  4. I am English, and regularly travel to a "Foriegn" country - Wales !! The road signs are in English, and Welsh, but over the years I have noticed that they keep changing the spellings. I think make them  up as they go along to confuse us lol.

  5. Much the same as when the British drive abroad, but road signs are pretty much standard in Europe, except for speed limits.Europe is kilometres per hour and here it is Miles per hour.

  6. SIGNS ARE PRETTY MUCH UNIVERSAL, HAVE PICTURES, EASY TO UNDERSTAND, I DRIVE IN OTHER COUNTRIES, NEVER HAD A PROBLEM, AND OTHER COUNTRIES DO NOT ACCOMMODATE OTHER LANGUAGES , BUT , AH, THE SIGNS, THEY ARE CLEAR, LIKE THE SILHOUETTE OF A DEER JUMPING, OR THE TRIPLE CURVE OF A ROAD,,,,,

  7. The same way people who speak English drive through the continent I suppose?

  8. Half the Englsh people who drive on your motorways ( assuming you're English or British ) cant read the highway code.

  9. I work on the motorways and trust me they Dont!!!  they do what they want, when they want and how they want. and when it goes wrong...... me no speak english!!!!!

    me no understand!!!
