  1. Yes anxiety needs to be overcome but whether it needs to be done right now by jumping up the front depends on how serious the problem currently is.

If the person is experiencing severe panic attacks, then flooding (exposing them to the most anxiety evoking situation e.g. up the front or performing public speaking) may not be a good idea.

Professional help is recommended so that step-by-step the person becomes less anxious when confronted by the previously terrifying situation.

  2. I use to suffer from Anxiety and Panic Attacks. For me sitting in the back of a room worked best. The reason is simple. If you are in front you have your back to everyone and this causes your anxiety to climb! You will have thoughts like, are they talking about me, are they starring at me and such. If you set in the back, you can keep your eyes on them! This gives you a sense of control. At least it did for me.

I am thankful that through prayer and faith, God delivered this from me. Try praying about it and have faith that God can deliver you from this as well.

  3. Wherever is nearest to the door so that if you need to tell the teacher that you want to leave for a few minutes it's a quicker escape.

  4. The best position is sitting in the front row.  This way the rest of the class is behind you and you won't have a million set of eyes looking at your face when you answer a question.

You will only concentrate on the question and the teacher.  You will be looking towards the front of the room and not at other students.

You'll feel much more comfortable in the front.  I know from experience.  Trust me.

  5. sit on the 2nd row at the corner :)

    that's what I do :)

  6. Sit in front as anxiety needs to be overcome too!
