If personality is more important than looks..?

IF PERSONALITY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN LOOKS..WHY DO MEN GENERALLY FALL OUT OF LOVE WHEN WOMEN GET OLD,GAIN WEIGHT OR JUST DONT LOOK HOW THEY DID WHEN THEY FIRST MET?..why even get married to begin with?

I think there is more to it, it is more about a person giving up, letting themselves go and that may come from depression or a variety of other things. I think both people in the marriage should try to keep themselves up, plus I truly believe that the better you look- the better you feel! Why be frumpy and unmotivated? (And dont say kids, I have a 2 year old and still take the time to make myself hot).

Not all men fall out of love when there partners reach 60 or 70. and a handsome face with no personality really looks funny mind you.

personality only counts more than looks for INTELLIGENT men, dumba-- men go for booty cuz they don't have any personality themselves

as for women getting fat, it's my observation that married women get fat cuz they aren't gettin' enuff at home

looks are a direct reflection of personality

if someones personality has high self-esteem and motivation

they are gonna take their fat *** to the gym and use some botox or face cream.  If my spouse wants to flake on me then you better believe i have the confidence to find someone else

Whoa!!! Hang on, for guys who are good with women personality is NEVER more important than looks.  Now for guys who aren't so good, they have to take what they can get, usually the women with a lot of personality and a lot of everything else (fat).  

If you really love someone, why would you let yourself go in the first place?  One word, LAZY.

Well, some people are just shallow. Men aren't the only ones to do this though, women are just as guilty. Also, when some people get married at a younger age, they are not prepared for changes in their mate. I have seen some people that married for looks, or because they were part of a certain clique. This usually ends in divorce.

Let me start by saying what in the h**l type of question is that. Men are attracted to women by physical rather than the mental. How how do you expect for him to change that if that's a genes things for men? Sometimes I wonder what women are really thinking? This is why men cheat because of rationales like that.

it has less to do with physical attraction amd more to do with other changes that both men and women go thru... different goals, morals, responsibilities, etc.
