  1. go with both just in case (as neither are 100% effective), but it also protects againt any std's which may be lurking on either side. (unless u hav both been tested)

  2. depending on what type of pill it is and what the doctor said. Birth control pills take almost a month before they will protect against pregnancy. It takes a while to get in the system.

  3. I will share my experience with you. I am 16 weeks pregnant with my first child and I took birth control pills religiously for over 2 years. Only missed 1 pill that whole time way way before I got pregnant... Please if you do not want a baby... wrap your tool..

  4. She might have it in her mind that you cheated. Or is cheating. You probably cheated and gave her something and she don't want to risk that again. You should go get tested and bring her the results so that you won't have to wear a condom. Married couples don't use condoms.

  5. pills are not 100% Condoms are not 100% but with both the chances are not likely.

  6. Not wearing a condom is too risky. Who's to say that the condom is in perfect condition... without any holes and punctures? Plus, even with a condom on AND taking birth control, it's possible to get pregnant. Neither are 100% effective.

I think if you're both looking to avoid pregnancy for several years, your wife should look into Mirena, which is 99.9% effective.

Here's a link to the FAQs section of the site:

  7. Totally not true that married couples do not use condoms. They do for many reasons. and not nessesarily if they are cheating. But i do agree with most the people on here. Condoms are not 100% pills are not 100%. If you cannot take care of or do not want a baby at all, then wrap it up. there is still a chance to get prego but it is minute.

  8. birth control pills are about 95% effective. so there's a 5% chance you will still get pregnant if you're on the pill

  9. yes u still need to use a condom
