I've had several random drug tests as part of our department policy.  If I ever fail one, I lose my job.

They can smoke dope with reckless abandon after they get hired, because they are officially beyond suspicion at that point.

Most places implement random drug testing, from p.o.'s to teachers.  I still think pot shouldn't be an issue but it is.
