If psychics are real, should you be able to tell me about my past?

tell me something about my past, it should be easier than predicting the future.. i don't believe in psychics and i'd like somebody to prove me wrong??

Sorry - I am newer to this forum - not clear why I see so many Psychic questions? Although some Astrologers say they are Psychics ...arent these types of questions considered off topic?

Sorry - maybe someone can clarify.

Especially since I think I have only seen one serious answer to these Psychic questions - the rest are just replies that mock the question (could it be because this is a horoscope blog and not psychic blog)

Anyways - just curious cause it does not compute

no one will be able to tell you anything specific. this is because most psychics are just professional body language readers. since no one can see you and your body language, nothing specific will be told.

In my opinion, if they CAN do as they say, then YES, they SHOULD be able to tell you anything, past, present or future. However, to date, NO one has any proof they can do this. James Randi, a well known skeptic, former mentalist, has offered a million dollar prize to anyone who can prove psychic abilities, reproducible under independent 3rd party scrutiny. It never cease to amaze me that people believe in things for which there is absolutely no tangible evidence of any kind. James Randi has many cases in which psychics were shown to be no better at predicting things than simple random chance. I'm with you on this, psychics, though well intentioned and most probably really believe they have these abilities, simply are so much hot air...
