  1. When you learn psychic abilities, you are taught principles (And must know principles to learn them) which include avoiding greed, charging fairly for your services, patience, balance... and a bunch more. It takes a lot of work and you have to have "prequesities" to learn the art. Now, let's say some somehow got corrupt after all that time of not being so yet they somehow managed to hold the art (which is practically impossible)... the forces helping you with visions aren't going to help you cash in on your skill. Psychic abilities going mainstream would s***w things over since people like you would be going crazy or (better scenario, most likely) people like you wouldn't believe it anyway.

Heck, the US government decided to use Remote Viewers 40 years ago because the Russians were doing it, had great success, beyond equal means and way too high and consistent for it to be chance. Yet, scientists still say "for something so paranormal, we need more concrete evidence than this." Well, the US uses them. Close-minded people are expecting people to be able to life things with their minds. We're psychics, not magicians. And you'll never learn until you open your minds. When your physical body dies and your soul is seperated from it (wherever it goes), I wonder what you'll think. Is it possible for a close-minded person to become open-minded from a single event?
