The Republicans are arguing that anyone who asks about Palin's experience are sexist.

If that's a valid argument, then isn't anyone that questions Obama's experience a racist?

Personally, I think that you can question anyone's experience without being some kind of -ist.

  1. Obama doesn't have any experience to question.  We're questioning his LACK of experience.

  2. obama rocks, i sure hope he wins over mccain.. everyone who likes him should vote for him on this page (and get a free gift card!!).

  3. It's not sexist and it's not racist.  It's trying to figure out information about people who would have top roles in Government.  Of course the media is going to dig for stuff, that's what they do for everyone.

  4. As a McCain/Palin supporter, I don't feel that questioning her experience is being sexist. Nor do I think questioning Obama is racist. However, Palin does have more experience than Obama any day.

  5. No it isn't sexist to question her experience or racist to question Obama's experience. However it is sexist when their are comments made about Palin's looks, her mothering, etc. It is also outrageous the way the liberals have attacked her children. That is uncalled for.

  6. I think SOME Republicans are saying that, just as SOME Democrats said that questioning Obama is racist.

I think if a person questions Palin's experience and doesn't say "well, she should have her priorities straight and look after her family", etc, then their question is legitimate.  If they are going the "take care of the family" route, then they are totally sexist.....no MAN has ever been told to eschew his political career and stay home and take care of the babies.

Likewise, if someone questions Obama's experience, based on experience and not his color (and I really can't see how the two are related, but I guess people see what they want to see), then that question should be respected.

This election has taken some ridiculous twists and turns.  Unfortunately, I believe the ride has just begun.
