If "they" do not allow us to protect ourselves, should "they" protect us?

But if "they" don't protect us, and punish us for trying to protect ourselves, what should we do?

"They" = whatever you want to imagine.

Does every human have the right to protect themselves? Is it not tyranny when we are not allowed to, and even greater tyranny when they promise to protect us, but don't?

  1. Hi there. Your question is really bothering me too for some time now. So much that I ve decided to do a research and a documentary on The right to protect ourselves. Would be extremely helpful if anyone could mention any cases of people that had trouble with the law because they protected (or tried to) themselves. If you know the names/places/contacts of these cases would be great. I think it is time for this ridiculous law to change and you can help here. Thanks in advance.
