  1. being addicted to a drug, you would have sounded smarter if you didn't spell wealthier wrong

  2. how are you comparing apple sauce and peanut butter?

Those who gain employment by working for a rich corporation is working....

Those who gain money from the government do it by sitting on their butts and collecting food stamps and welfare while complaining about the people driving past their homes on their way to work and pay taxes so that they can sit there and eat, drink and be merry off our dime.

the government is nothing more nor nothing less than the taxes that workers pay.  where do they get their money?  from the rich corporations, and then they consume the products they provide....

Living off the government is sitting on your butt for free money.

Living off a rich person is working for a return.

You said relying on the govt... You should have been much more specific in your original question to say something like:

Why is it considered lazy to rely on the government to provide employment but it is not considered such if you rely on the rich for your job?  That would have given a different course of thoughts.

Thank you for your clarification at the end of your additional comments!!!!

  3. The difference is when you rely on "rich people," you are relying on somone who is accountable, ie someone he has to make a profit or loses their business.  Relying on the government is considered lazy cause the government is so extremely wasteful and is not accountable to anyone.  That's why so much money is wasted in the government, look at the postal service, amtrak and now fannie mae and freddie mac.  Any public company that ran a business like that would be OUT of business.

  4. yes...."relying on rich people" would be the same....

...the point is creating an environment for you to to work and become rich yourself...that takes personal accountability and some measure of drive...and the understanding that you should not have to "rely" on others for all your needs...

  5. Whatever happend to relying on yourself?  This is the problem.
