"thou shall not kill"

I'm mean, you cant really justify war to me.

We're over there waisting our money killing innocent civilians in their own neighborhoods!

The terrorist of 9/ll killed themselves already, and the WMD were never found, Why are we still there!!!

  1. War sucks.. BUT sometimes it is the only choice.

Pacifism wouldn't have ended slavery, world war 1 or world war 2 junior.. We don't love war. We just realize that sometimes we have no other choice.

  2. Because we feel a sense of responsibility for the welfare and safety of other people.

    Are you worth defending?

  3. It would seem that these days it is KILL or be Killed .How many Christians today are being Killed by people who around them are in the Majority ? Yes I am speaking of Today's World.

  4. When you grow up you will understand. No one likes war but sometimes one has to stand up to evil. Peace

  5. who told you republicans are so Christian?

  6. We don't support people blowing themselves up and murdering the innocent. Let me guess, you are a muslim?

  7. We are bringing freedom to Iraq and preventing dangerous people from killing us

  8. If it takes war to remain free, to give you the right to get on the Internet and bash people that you don't even know with no consequences I'm going to be for it even though I dislike what you stand for.

Not sure if you are aware of this but Islam is not a peaceful religion, they want to control and kill all who do not believe the same as them. Liberals want to pave the way for them to call America home and we should all be seriously concerned about this. Europe is realizing the mistake they made by allowing this change come in to their country and are as I write trying to combat the laws that they changed to accommodate the Muslims and have changed the way they live their day to day lives. They know they messed up and are trying to go backward. Why don't we learn from their mistake and stop it while we can.

Christians are persecuted and killed daily around the world.

  9. A Little unfair ,look back a few years, more then a few of your favorite democrats voted FOR the war. So don't generalize Republicans, its a messed up Congress.

  10. Someone should strap you to a missile and shoot your *** into a terrorist training camp.

  11. because bush smoking crack

  12. Because they are hypocrites, I don't see the difference in a terrorist and a country willing to attack another country under the perception that they are freeing the people.  They both are killing innocent people without regard, and they are both stealing the natural resources for their own gain.

Why is it that Americans feel that they can control a country by occupying it, did we not learn for Beirut, Vietnam, Iraq, Cuba.

"Rivers of blood can never bring peace."

  13. actually the bible says "thou shall not MURDER"

    big difference

    edit:

    for itsyou

    From Romans 13:4:

But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it [governing authority] does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil.

  14. There have been plenty of times in history where war was justified. You are ignorant if you think war is never justifiable. You are being very generalized. Did war not end slavery in the US, and the holocaust? The US is not over there to kill innocent civilians, but there has been collateral damage, but you are being ridiculous. Besides, both sides of the aisle voted for the war. NOT just  Republicans. Not all of the terrorists behind 9/11 killed themselves. Not all Republicans are 'so Christian.' There are moderate republicans and conservative republicans; just as there are differences in the democratic party. Anyone who lumps together an entire political party is sterotyping an entire political party. It is fine to disagree with the war; saying it is never justified is ridiculous.

  15. They believe it's a "holy war" (Bush said so in so many words in one of his more infamous speeches).  If anyone can explain how that's any different from a terrorist group starting a "holy war", I'd like to hear it.  Even the Iraqi leaders are saying our troops have been there long enough and it's time to go home, but Bush STILL says no!

  16. Many Christians who vote Republican are voting against their beliefs. The Bible says

"Blessed are the Peacermakers, for they shall be called the children of God."

    Matthew 5:9

"Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to squeeze through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to get into the kingdom of God."

    Matthew 19:24

"That which you have done for the least of those among you, you have done unto me."

    Matthew 25:31-46

'When a stranger resides with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong.'

    Leviticus 19:33

"Sell your possessions, and give the money to the poor. Make yourselves wallets that don't wear out-a dependable treasure in heaven, where no thief can get close and no moth can destroy anything."

    Luke 12:33

"But I tell you not to resist an evildoer. On the contrary, whoever slaps you on the right cheek, turn the other to him as well."

    Matthew 5:39

  17. There are plenty of good, Christian Republicans but it seems to me the Republican party only supports 2 Christian thoughts:

    - Abortion is bad

    - Christ is the son of God

Beyond that, it seems like they have never read the new testament.

Added in response to other answers:

Democrats know that war is sometimes necessary but we also know it wasn't necessary in Iraq.
