I love fruit and I HATE fries. So I think a side of fruit would be lovely.

Before french fries were invented restaurants served soup or salad, so I think that is still what they would serve if french fries were not a choice.

OMG I simply cannot imagine not having french fries.  But I have had sweet potato fries before, not too bad.
