to produce electric power. How much land would be flooded and how would this compare to the area of land denied to us by the storage of nuclear waste, if nuclear power stations were used to replace the fossil fuelled power stations?

  1. You need to consider not only how much land would be underwater, but also how populated that land is.  Most of the land lost to rising sea levels is highly populated.

You must also take into account that the location of the storage of nuclear wastes is under some degree of control.  However, no one has control over what land is flooded due to rising sea levels.

  2. old nuclear waste fuels dont take up land they get stored underground, but they're not the answer and having rising sea levels certainly wont help anyone. electricity can be produced very effectively in offshore wind farms, out of everyone's way
